Venu 2S inaccurate heart rate readings when exercising

Hello,

I have a Venu 2 Plus and a polar chest strap. My partner has a Venu 2S and a polar chest strap.

Over the past few weeks, my partner has noticed that her 2S is no longer reading/recording heart rate accurately when exercising whereas it used to be quite good. Her 2S is regularly 10 to 15 beats higher than the Polar strap. The heart rate readings are fine/accurate when resting.

The watch is set to auto update software so the problem could have started after the last auto software update??

Has any body else noticed this problem?

Any thoughts please?

BTW, Software version is Version 17.04, Sensor version is 27.16

Yes. I have the same issue. I noticed it ~4 updates ago... But unlike yours, mine shows a slower heart rate than my actual heart rate.

Mine is doing the same thing. In the middle of an hour long bootcamp workout, my heart rate will go from 110 to 168 in a matter of seconds. My total caloric burn is drastically incorrect

Similar issue here. Sometimes when I start a new activity the heart rate just stays abnormally low.

Here in the first 5 minutes my HR never measured above 90, even though when I manually checked with my finger on my wrist it must have been at least above 120 (2+ per second). The missing data sections is me trying to disable and reenable the HR sensor and after the third attempt it finally worked and showed plausible data:

Hi Garmin-Inder,

I have spent hours searching multiple FAQ and more hours searching the web. None of the suggestions about strap tightness, positioning, cleaning etc. etc. have had any effect whatsoever.

All I can say for sure is that the watches used to work fine and a while ago ( around 6 or 7 weeks ago) they became screwed up.... not a happy customer!!
