Solid Red back light

My Venu 2 has suddenly started showing a solid red light above the HRM sensor. I initially thought it was the Pulseox sensor, but it seems to be a different indicator. The phone is discharging much faster since the light started showing up.

Any idea what it is and how it can be removed?

Pulse Ox would normally be flashing, not solid red. To test if it is the Pulse Ox, I'd suggest changing that in settings to be only "On Demand." Additionally, this will save on battery life - Changing the Pulse Oximeter Tracking Mode. Follow that with restarting the watch.

If that's not it, contact Garmin Support.

Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned in my post, it was not the Pulse Ox sensor since it's already in the On Demand mode. I tries restarting as you suggested, but that hasn't helped either. I will try contacting support, thanks.
