Venu 2S 20% Battery menas less than 6h or 7h work without any activity

It looks like battery percentage drops slowly from 100% to let's say 30% but then it speeds up and from 20% to 0 drops within less then a night sleep.
I am not sure if it is maybe the issue with current battery percentage indicator, battery is broken or is it an issue with the recent software. I am experiencing this issu since this summer.

I sent the watch to Garmin support 3 times now... and I am going to send it again and no solution.

I know the battery after 1.5y will not last as the first day, but I would expect the percentage indicator to indicate correctly. As for now when my watch shows 20% I know the battery saver will not be able to even start.... and if it stars, as soon as you enable it, you get only 1% battery... not usefull at all.

Any solution?

I am not using any IQ, followed all tips to extend battery life,... so now I have a watch completly disconected from my mobile phone.... and having tocharge it is I want to use it for an activity... :(

Thanks.

  • Hey Slight smile

I don't know how battery indication works at Garmin, but I know it from some other (more complex) devices. Those devices learn what is an empty and full battery. To learn it they need a couple of times a fully charged battery and empty battery. So, what you can try is to

    1. Do a factory reset of the device

    2. Charge the device to 100%

    3. Use the device until the battery dies

Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 up to 5 times.

Good luck and let me know if it works for you
