Bring all vivoactive 5 features to venu 2

Bring all vivoactive 5 features to venu 2, my watch is double that price and without all Important features. This is unaceptable

  • Don't hold your breath waiting, that's not Garmin's business model.

Why would they put all the features of a newly released watch on one that is over 3 years old?

BTW: I don't see any features on the Vivoactive 5 that I need or want. What is it that you think is important?

  • Totally agree. It’s a simple software update for the Venu 2 since all the sensors are the same and honestly the Venu 2 has more available memory anyway so room isn’t an issue. Would love the morning report, the sleep HRV among all the rest. I mean the Vivoactive 5 is a step below and costs less than the Venu 2 but will have MORE features. Oh did I mention that my 2019 Apple Watch 5 just received WatchOS 10 and now has the SAME exact software that runs on the brand new Apple Watch Series 9? Why would I buy a Garmin again, if I know that Apple will give me all the new features of their new watch on my old watch every year. Come on Garmin, this is a SIMPLE software update for the Venu 2 … don’t leave us hanging!

  • I agree. I don't see anything here that I would want. In fact, the Venu 2 has some features that the vivoactive 5 does not have.

Compare vivoactive 5 vs Venu 2

  • But the only feature I would like to see is Nap detection on ALL devices, and that has been a topic of discussion for years. I'd be surprised if it makes it to older devices.

  • I will never buy Garmin again next to the Apple watch

  • I agree as well. Venu 2 was the first Elevate 4 and CIQ 4.0 device. The hardware has the capabilities, but it's yet to be seen if Garmin will put consumer interests before corporate ones Money with wings

  • I agree, the same should be brought to even more advanced and more expensuve  venu2 plus as well.

Nap detection , open water swimming and hrv status would be much apreciated .

  • I wear both the Venu 2S & the Apple Watch SE on opposite wrists.  The SE is much better @ HR tracking.  The 2S displays more useful performance information in the Garmin app.  They're both OK for GPS.  I can always use an external HR monitor with the 2S so that diminishes the SE's advantage.

I don't think they compete with each other.  The 2S is a better fitness tracker & the SE is a better smart watch.  Pick your priorities.

  • What has any of that got to do with the topic?

  • "I will never buy Garmin again next to the Apple watch"
