Venu S2 not syncing golf rounds

My new Venu S2 works fine when I am playing golf, but it's not syncing to my phone after the round completion. Other activities (walking, gym activities) are syncing properly.

    I would suggest following the suggestions outlined through the article linked here: My Scorecards Are Not Displayed in the Garmin Golf App

    Scorecards recorded through the Venu are synced through the Garmin Connect mobile app, and then must be viewed through the Garmin Golf app. 

    If you continue to have concerns, it would be best to reach out to Garmin Support to discuss the issue with an expert.

    This is not the problem. When I do use the scoring function, that syncs OK.  It is the actual round of golf, with steps, calories etc.  This used to work on my old Garmin X40, but doesn't on my new Venu S2.

    Thank you for clarifying, it was not clear based on the initial post if the scorecards were not syncing...or if the golf activity viewable in Garmin Connect was not syncing. 

    In this circumstance, you simply just need to switch "Record Activity" back on in the Golf Settings menu on your Venu. 

    From the regular time screen showing your watch face, hold down the button on the lower right side of the watch to open the main menu > Select Activities & Apps > Golf > Golf Settings > Scroll down the golf settings menu and tap the switch next to the record activity option, and the switch should then show green. 

    Then on your golf rounds going forward, you will have the activity saved to view in Garmin Connect.
