Watch turn off venu 2

My venu 2 turns off at 20% and I have recharge it

more than usual, this seems to be happening in the last couple of months

  • Same for all of us on this forum. Garmin don't give a *** about that, so run to store and replace if you have warranty and never buy garmin again. Good luck!

  • Fit bit was bad enough, but with the cost of these watches I expected better but garmin are as bad Confused

  • Same here. After the update release in June, 23-ish was the new zero for my battery. Now, after the latest update, 40 is the new zero. I need to recharge the watch twice a day. What a joke!

  • At least you have a watch that sort of works. I had the same issue with the watch turning off at 40% battery. Over the next few days this got woirse and now it turns off at 100%. Plug into the charger and it shows 100% charge. Disconnect the charger and it turns off within 2 minutes.

I've tried all the usual steps, soft reset, hard reset. Also upadted the sofware which seemed a waste of time since a software update caused the issue.

Now I'm just going to use my 25 year old Seiko watch and the Garmin garbage is in the bin. Never again will I buy or recommend Garmin or buy 'smart' anything. The only thing smart gadgets seem to do is fail just outside warranty.
