Watchface disappearance

Yesterday afternoon, 22 July, and without any input from me my watchface disappeared.  Has there been an update to those available? If so I hadn't been made aware. And now I can't get a new one to upload. Any ideas?

  • I would expect that your Connect app will offer (perhaps too many) options for you.

    It was this blog that gave me warning of issues encountered with some 'watch faces'. (Specifically, one's with a battery's state on primary face, which often will put you into "battery saving mode" inadvertently.)

    You should be aware that many of them are 'third party' and you might be a 'beta' tester of one installed on your particular watch model.

    I chose a simple face that best gave info I wanted (hour. minute and second along with day/date) and it also had "Garmin" displayed in fine print. My first thought was "well I know it's a Garmin", but perhaps it's just assuring it's a genuine Garmin face.
