Auto update software/firmware

Question

My new Venu 2s will be delivered tomorrow and I want to prevent "auto-update" of its software. I don't see the option on my "Connect" app and don't have Garmin Express app.

There is not an option to disable Auto-update. However, prior to the update is installed, you will receive a message on the watch to choose whether you want to 'install now' or ' later'. You can always choose install later, if you do not wish to install the update.
