Venu 2s dark screen, unresponsive and after hard reset, still unresponsive with continual loop of watch features

I have had my Venu 2s for about 5 months. When I left for work in the morning the charge was at 88%.  Later I noticed the screen was really dark and no response to buttons or screen tap. It would also no longer sync with garmin connect app. I deleted the app on my phone and reinstalled but nothing.  I ended up doing the hard reset by holding down the buttons on the watch. When it came back on it looked like it was going to work but instead of the "hello" screen appearing it went into a continual"loop" of all the watch features and will not respond to anything. It can power down but when turned back on it just "loops" again. I tried the factory reset again but the same thing happens. I have also let the battery  deplete and then plug into power but no change.
