I have a Venu 2, software version 13.14. A few days ago, it asked me to install a software update, which appeared to be successful. I tracked a walk activity later that day, and within less than an hour the battery quickly drained to 0 from about 50%. After recharging the watch, I noticed that it would not sync to my phone, and that it was not tracking heart rate or steps. When checking the software version, the sensor version is 0.00 and BMX shows as 0.00!
Here is what I tried so far in order, none of it has worked. The watch remains unusable:
-Removed from Connect and attempted to re-connect, could not reconnect via bluetooth
-Did a factory reset, no change
-Connected to Garmin Express via my PC, it noted that a sensor software update was available but then lost connection to my pc. The watch itself showed an update was available so I installed it from there. The watch then went into a loop of continually finding an update, "installing" it and then finding it again.
-I looked at the forums and tried a few "fixes" I found there. I tried to join the beta program but it does not appear that an update is available. I tried disabling wrist heart rate and doing a soft reset, the watch "installed' updates while restarting again, I re-enabled wrist heart rate, and the SW versions are still 0.00
-Changed sensor update from smart to every second, no change
-I did another full "delete data and reset", after the watch was up again, I reconnected the watch to Garmin Express and went through the entire loop of it seeing the sensor update and trying to install it, only for the update to instantly switch to complete. NO change in the sensor versions, still 0.00, the watch still won't connect via Bluetooth.
What else can I try? Garmin support can contact me, please.
