Skin irritation with Venu 2 (and Venu SQ 2)

My son uses Garmin Venu 2, the photo is from his arm.
My daughter uses Garmin Venu SQ 2 and has the same problem.
I have used Garmin Fenix 7X for one year without any problem.

Is the silicone band for the Venu series that bad or is just my youngster that reacts to the silicone band?

I have checked the options for replacing the band to nylon.
The Venu SQ 2 use 20mm quick release band has nylon band available in the Garmin store.
However, for the Venu 2 which use 22mm quick release band, there is no nylon band available in the store.
Isn’t it any available for the Venu 2?
Thanks.

  • We are sorry to hear about the issue you are reporting. The skin irritation may be a result of build-up on the watch band and/or casing. You should discontinue wearing your watch until your skin has healed. Please review the following FAQ that provides important information regarding the wear and care of your Garmin watch: https://www.garmin.com/watch-fit-and-care/. • Thanks for your reply.

I will indeed discuss this further with Garmin support center.
They don’t use the watches during showers and wash them frequently as advised.
I really can’t understand why both my youngster should have problem with their watches, could it be due to cheaper material in the band for these watches?

However, there is just one question that I would like to be answered:
I have found a 20mm nylon quick release band for the Venu SQ 2.
Is there any 22mm nylon band available for the Venu 2?

  • We unfortunately, do not have any Nylon bands available for the Venu 2 model.
