WhatsApp calls showing unknown

Since a couple of previous updates, the calls coming to Whatsapp show as unknown..
It was working fine earlier.

I have tried resetting the watch to default, there are all the correct permissions associated to the connect app.

Anything else I need tor try?

If you have recently added new contacts and they are not showing up in the app, then you will need to let the app refresh the contacts so the newer ones can appear. Here's how to do that: 1. Launch the WhatsApp app on your device. 2. Tap on the contacts icon to open the contacts menu.

I tried that too and it fails.

To be more accurate in my description: When I get a call on WhatsApp, at first the watch shows the contact for a brief second with the whatsapp UI and then it switches to the normal call UI and says Unknown.
