Why is sleep tracking still so bad?

I have been using the Venu 2 since release. Unfortunately, the sleep tracking has not improved, I think even partially worsened. Die Uhr braucht von mir sogar die Bestätigung, dass ich wach bin.

It does not recognize that you have woken up, once it had even recognized "sleep", although I got up, got ready in the bathroom and went on the bus and train, taking several stairs and steps. There are players on the market like Whoop, which can even detect naps, but Garmin still does not manage to detect a wake up? Is there any improvement coming? Is it even tested? Is it pure coincidence? Is it as bad also on the other high end Garmin watches?

  • Hi, yes, I agree with you, it's really bad. it only detects that I am awake when I get out of bed. though he may have been awake for a long time. I've had bad nights where the result is good!

  • If you think it's bad now, it used to be worse.  I finally broke down and bought an Apple watch SE so I could get more reliable sleep tracking & HR monitoring.  I hate buying Apple but Garmin just isn't reliable in metrics that are important to me.

  • Writing anything about inadequate health tracking here is waste of time.

Appreciate your time and change this watch to another
