Can't pair with Wahoo Kickr Core

I can't connect my new venu 2s watch to the also new wahoo kickr core trainer, despite the fact that I bought it because the sports modes preloaded included indoor cycling on the trainer and bluetooth and ant+ connection. What is the solution?

I'm pretty sure you can't. There is no power meter support etc.
