I have a Garmin Venu 2 smartwatch and I keep it all the time updated.
However it happens a few times when hiking, the watch detected an incident and send the message to the emergency contact.
There were no incidents, first time it happened was during the summer and I stopped from beings sent the incident to my emergency person, however there was nothing that I was doing in particular.... just hiking/ walking. It happened a few times during the bad weather and i didn't looked at the watch when vibrating thinking that maybe are notifications, however the message went trough my emergency contact with my coordinates and she called me straight away or one time I manage to send the second message saying that I am ok.
I do not understand why these were sent as there was no 'incident'.
I saw on the internet that other people have the same issue but haven't found the way to deal with it.
