saved gps positions; how to export?

Hi community,

I have a venu 2 since yesterday ans one urgent question:

How can i export the saved gps positions (coordiantes) so that i can see them in google maps or kommot?

The garmin connect app does not show me this, or?

    AFAIK only via the Garmin Connect site. Select an activity, on the right side, second row there is a cog wheel like icon

    Thanks for replying,

    The problem is, that I am not in an "activity" every time when I am just outside. When driving by car, seeing an interesting viewpoint, select save as point of interest.

    That's what I am asking for.

    Unless you are in an activity, GPS probably won't be on (never in a watch face) so you can't even see what the location is on the watch.  When GPS is first enabled, it can take a bit of time to get a lock.

    I thought do too, but you can I think save a gps location: long press on button A, a menu comes up, select gps [red circle at about the 5 o'clock position, wait, confirm location. What I haven't found yet is how to see this on a map

    That's definitely that what I was asking. Saved point of interests that were created not during activities, but still from interest. Why are they captured in garmin world?
