Double Text Responses (Venu 2)

When I reply to a text message using the built-in responses on my Venu 2, my phone sends two copies of the reply.

Does anybody know why and how to prevent this?

Watch: Venu 2 running software v10.22
Phone: Samsung A53 5G (US; unlocked) running Android 12 and One UI 4.1
Messages: Messages by Google (Version: messages.android_20221101_01_RC01.phone_samsung_dynamic)

I don't know why- but just got one for Christmas and mine is doing it too! :/ I just updated to software 11.16 and still doing it. Did yours get fixed yet?

It seems to have stopped doing this, but I don't know why. I am on v11.16 now.
