Weighted Sit-up not accurate.

Hi there! SW10.22

I've created a few workouts with some weighted sit-ups and no matter how I do them, the count of sit-ups always fails.

Normally I do 40 sit-ups and the watch shows randomly between 15/20. I really don't know what to do.

Is there a way (when the count fails) to insert the number of repetitions manually?

Thanks in advance.

I don't rely on the watch to count reps correctly. When creating the workout in Garmin Connect, I use Duration Type "Lap Button Press."

On the Venu 2, when finishing a set press the lap button (bottom/right button). The watch then prompts for the reps, swipe up or down until the number is correct, then press start/stop to save.

  • Thanks for your quick reply.

After finishing a set, if I press the lower right button, it goes to the next workout. No posible to insert any number.

Remember that I'm talking about a programed workout with different excersices.

Or that only works when you create a duration type exercise?

Yes, exactly what I'm doing. When creating the workout, set it up like so...

This is just one of the sets of an overall core workout I'm doing. All of the sets end with lap button press.

  • I see. Thanks for the info.

I'll try to create new workouts that way.

By the way. The workouts I've created with the phone app, they have been transfered successfully to the watch but when I deleted one of them, they disappear on the app but remain on the watch.

    How can I delete them?

    Thanks.
