Venu 2 heart rate way too high in cardio and HIIT mode when walking

I walk to  my gym to workout and I use the HIIT or the cardio mode. During the walk my heart rate jumps on the Venu 2 over 150. This is completely wrong. I can even stop during these times and the heart rate stays very high. At some point after a few minutes it calms done and seems to be showing a correct heart rate.

This is a $400 watch and while I can accept that the sleep tracking is terrible at least the heart should be tracked better without major issues like the one above.

Currently the Fitbit Charge 5 for $150 provides better sleep tracking and the heart rate has no major issues. I would currntly not buy another Garmin. Hope the issues can be fixed with a software update.

Can you please change your activity profile during your walk to "Walk" instead? You'll need to stop and save the activity, and then start a new activity in the gym that matches up with the type of activity you are doing. As mentioned in the article I shared, it is important to use the most accurate activity profile.

I'm sorry to see that you are also experiencing inaccurate sleep data. May I have permission to view your Connect account and reach out to you via email after I'm able to examine the data?
