I find this incredibly frustrating, it happens to us all at some point - we are on a run, have to pause for something - in my case, it's usually navigating a style or crossing a road (sometimes with my dog in tow) and you accidentally hit the save button or worse still delete the activity all together!
Is there a way of
a) restating an activity (for example you may be 5 miles into a 6-mile run and hit save by mistake, so you want to continue where you left off rather than have 1 x 5-mile run followed by 1 x 1-mile run)?
b) recovering a deleted run if you discard it instead of saving it?
If these features don't exist - particularly the second one - then why don't Garmin build them in? this must happen to everyone at some point. I've had 3 different watches over the years and it's happened on them all to some extent but is more frequent with the touchscreen on the Venu 2. Surely all it requires is for your latest run to be saved in another folder where you can restore it (as with, for example, emails in outlook - accidentally delete it? you just drag it back out of the deleted items)
Thanks,
Matt
