activity location name not saved

I would like the name of the location of the activity to be saved in Garmin connect. I changed in the Connect account settings 'Activity Name' to be 'Location & Type', but all I get is type (e.g. 'Running'). I'm not sure if this is an issue with my Venu 2 not recognising the location name (I can see in Connect the activity map, so I definitely get GPS signal, but maybe the name of the location doesn't get recognised for some reason), or an issue with Connect.

Would love some help on this.

This is certainly a Connect issue, as the watch does not assign names to activities.
