Problems with Venu 2s version 10.18 update

My Venu 2s was updated to v10.18 on Thursday. After that there have been gaps in HR, steps, stress and body battery at least. HR related data has gaps also in watch, but for steps watch seems ok but in Garmin Connect you can see gaps in steps chart. Anyone else having similar issues after update? I have restarted watch already.

  • Nothing heard until now. I also sent a ticket via email (before writing in the forum), no reaction so far.

    Please fix the issue, contact us directly or whatever - please fix the bug, the watch is nearly useless at the moment Disappointed

  • Lisa, call in.  I found the support team there was excellent.  They are sending me a new watch head (after doing some investigation)

  • I had a call with Germin support.

    After joining the Beta program I got the software version 10.20 - the gap issue seems to be solved, had no further issues with 10.20.

    They told me, that Garmin is aware of the issue and working on a solution.

    Ich habe keine Email bekommen auch nicht im Spam gelandet.

    Egal ich habe das update auf 10.20 gemacht.

    Das Problem mit der HF besteht immer noch , der Verlauf wird auf der Uhr nicht angezeigt.

  • Hello, I didn't get any email, nor did I end up in spam. Regardless, I updated to 10.20. The problem with the HR still persists, the history is not displayed on the watch.

    We have similar issues with 10.18:

    I bought the watch as a gift for my wife and she was super happy with it. With 10.18 she's just super frustrated...there're up to 10 restarts each day (blue triangle is shown for couple of seconds, even during an activity). Furthermore often the steps decrease during the day.

    This firmware is a joke and an hotfix is needed asap!

    Im using Garmin watches myself for years and never had such issues...we're really disappointed so far how this issue is handled. At least make it possible to downgrade easily and remove 10.18.
