I find it totally unreliable and because of this, rather annoying. The watch does not record all of my floors that I actually climb yet on a car ride in a sitting position it seems to add many floors climbed?

If you mean the glances on the watch, yes you can remove it by long pressing B button and removing floors climbed. On the app you an remove the floors climbed card by sliding left on the card.
The thing to remember about floors climbed is its really ascent and descent being measured by the altimeter. For instance when I went on a hike last week I ascended 960 feet and it correctly showed 96 “floors”. I guess they should call it something else…..
I agree with you CindiL but I also think the "rules" for counting floors include ascent, moving forward, and your arm waving. So your hike would give you credit for stairs (agreed that the naming is not great) but a car ride should not unless you are waving your arm while you ride.
Thanks for all the input, I followed the advice and it isn't now on watch or app although there seems to be no way of removing it from the web, is there?
Interestingly although it is gone from my watch and the app my watch still tells me I have achieved my goal on floors climbed! Rather odd eh?
