Two Garmin watches paired with one smartphone: Venu 2 for office and home use and Fenix 6 Pro for outdoor activities?

Dear All,

Do you know if I can pair 2 Garmin watches (not simultaneously) with one smartphone (Samsung) and hence one Garmin Connect app? Would I get any problems with health stats etc.?

And a couple of other questions:

  • Could I achieve >1 week battery life of Venu 2 for the following scenario: BT on, pulsometer on, Sp02 off, AOD off (gesture on), medium screen brightness, 2-3 hours of spinbike per week (GPS off), about a dozen of notifications per day, watchface with dark background?

  • Does the gesture feature works reliably in case if my hand lies on a table and I move it just a bit to see the screen? Are there a lot of "false alarms" of this feature?

 Thank you.

  • Yes you can pair more then one device to your phone, you just set one as primary and turn on Physio true-up so that whichever device you’re wearing will contribute your activities to Garmin Connect.  The only thing that doesn’t sync up is body battery I believe.

    1.  You’ll have to play around with your settings.  Seems possible though.

    2. I feel like the gesture feature works really well.  I don’t know about “false alarms” as any time you move arm in a gesture it will briefly light up the screen. That said, as I sit here typing it doesn’t turn on, so it does actually take a gesture, wrists twist etc.

  • Thank you VERY much for the informative answers!
