After I swapped my Fitbit Charge 3 for the Garmin Venu 2S, my Android phone battery usage increased dramatically. The usage is not attributed to the Connect app though but to Google Play services.
I believe this is caused by location services usage by the Connect app as if I change the app location permissions from the recommended "Allow all the time" to "Allow only while using the app", battery consumption decreases (even though it is still higher than before), this breaks the watch weather functionality though.
I saw a few other posts reporting this problem. Has this been reported as a bug to Garmin? If not, how can I report it?
