Loving the Venu 2 but one thing is driving me mad. I cannot, even on auto or manual settings, see the screen in the sun. I see this was a problem a bit back but for some it went away. Not for me. What do i need to do?

My fault in not mentioning the running part of the problem. I just naturally assume if someone has a sports watch then its used for sports. I'll try the wrist turn and see if that works when suns out. If not, I'll just return and switch back to Coros watch. Pity really as apart from this its the first bit of Garmin kit I've liked. Thanks all for the advice

Well, Venu2 is not a typical sports watch - even the Garmin categorizes it as a "Fitness Tracking product - Health and Wellness product".
There's a lot of differences in the available functionality compared to typical sports watch like Forerunner/Fenix/Epix.
In my case it's just a (kind of) smart watch - calls and apps notifications, contactless payments - ideal for casual outfit, good display readability thanks to really good AMOLED screen.
I have a different watch for sports tracking (not Garmin brand) - but this one doesn't fit my usual work outfit at all.
