Back button delay 3 to 4 seconds

When entering the menu of the Garmin Venu 2 the back button responds with a 3 to 4 second delay. This makes the watch feel very sluggish/slow in responding. When I first got the watch this was not the case. Please fix this!!

Other idea, please turn on a feature to enable automatic routes on the Venu 2 using the connect app. Breadcrumb routes would be enough. It's dumb that such a feature is not included in the native app while 3 party apps offer this feature.

  • The Venu doesn't have navigation, so it can't have routes.

The Venu is an activity tracker, not a sports watch.

Watches like the Fenix, Epix, and Forerunner, have navigation & routing.

  • Yes, that is what the company wants it to be. The hardware on the other hand allows developers to make third party apps that make offline navigation possible. For the Garmin Venu 2 for instance there are apps that give you the ability to download routes from Strava. These routes can be  downloaded to the watch as a breadcrum trail with turn by turn navigation. Super useful and very much wanted by customers!!! Technically the Venu 2 is more than capable to be a sports watch. In my opinion the distinction between product lines is only/mostly made to make more money. I know this idea will upset some customers who have paid premium prices for models like the Fenix or Epix. But think about it, if third party developers (mostly small companies and hobbyist) can make navigation work on the Venu 2, than certainly a big company like Garmin can achieve the same thing and likely surpass the quality of third party apps. It cannot be that difficult to add this feature to the native Garmin app (Garmin Connect). Who are we kidding?
