After the 8.11 update I had massive problems with the display staying black whenever I received a notification (After updating to 8.11 software, display is blank - Venu 2 - Health & Wellness - Garmin Forums). The only remedy was to downgrade manually to 5.83 every time the watch upgraded itself and I wasn't able to stop that in time. Last week i got the 9.17 update and according to Garmin this should have resolved the issue, but no luck. I guess the only solution is to send the watch in and have it replaced, so i will do that. None to happy to be without a watch for a week, especially because it seems a software rather than a hardware problem.
