I've had the Venu 2 for quite a while now and have noticed a pattern related to battery drain.
The watch drains roughly at 10% per day, sometimes a bit more, depending upon what I'm doing.
However I can guarantee that after listening to music, the battery state will fall through the floor.
Listening to music results in increased battery drain as you would expect, but once you have finished listening to music the battery continues to be consumed at an unrealistic rate, seemingly faster than while listening to music.
It is as if the watch is either...
- continuing to play music or
- hunting for the headphones that are no longer connected.
As the last track doesn't change, I think we can rule out #1.
So that would leave #2, the watch is trying to find/connect to the previously active headphones.
Powercycling the watch seems to break hunt for headphones loop, but realistically I/you/we shouldn't have to reboot the watch each time music is no longer required.
