Venu 2 "wait for GPS"

Dear Garmin Support Team,

it seems that my GPS is not working anymore on my Venu 2. I did a run a few weeks ago where the run was tracked accurately with GPS and my run this morning did not connect to GPS at all. I only realized that after my run and spent the last hour or so trying to fix it. As soon as I want to launch a tracked activity I get the screen "wait for GPS".

This is extremely unfortunate as I rely on my runs to be tracked for my distance training that I have just begun.

What's the best way to solve this?

Make sure you sync with the app before the run, this will download the latest satellite info and make connecting much faster. Also, wait until you see the green arrow after this message “wait for GPS” before pressing start on the activity.

Make sure the watch shows “current CPE” after pressing B button, settings, system, about, scroll down to the bottom and see what it shows for Current CPE Info: it should show current. This article discusses current CPE:

Thanks for that! I did already check that yesterday and It still wasn't working (I am syncing almost every day) but to my surprise everything worked this morning :) so I'll credit you the karma points :)

my watch freezes and locks up when I try to use the gps, only a reset gets it going again until i try to use the gps again.. it never used to do this
