Sleep tracking during the day

In the last week or two my Garmin Venu 2S has recorded a nap during the day, this overwriting the previous night’s sleep data. I have my sleep times set up as 22:00 to 06:00 so I thought the watch would only record sleep during these times. If I go into the incorrect recording of the nap and change my sleep times back to my night’s sleep then the sleep score gets screwed up. Is there any way to stop my watch from recording sleep during the day? Or to completely delete an unwanted recording of a nap?

  • Hi! This just happened to me for the first time. Did you ever figure out a fix?

No, sadly not, it’s still happening every so often. I just write down my sleep time and sleep score every morning when I wake up and make my own graphs. It’s super annoying that I can’t rely on the Garmin graphs anymore. Does anyone know if there’s a way of editing sleep score as well as sleep time?

  • The sleep tracker is crap anyway... I can lay awake for hours and it says I have been fast asleep, just because I stayed in bed trying to get back to sleep all that time.

Also it creeps me out that although I have my sleep time set, it knows exactly when I went upstairs to go to bed, even if I didn't actually go to sleep yet!

If I sit up and read in bed for an hour it claims I was deepwr asleep during that hour of reading than during my whole night sleeping after. The sleep tracker is a joke and seems to be no more than a creepy 'spying' tool, as it knows things it shouldn't know, but it's certainly not accurate enough for the user.
