How to add WiFi Network to Venu 2

I am following the steps in the article https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/venu/EN-US/GUID-575CE1BC-7F3C-4024-AD75-51A64A4F0B72.html to add my home WiFi network to my Venu 2, but after step 4, the Garmin Connect app has a message "Waiting on Venu 2" and I have no idea what I am supposed to do next.
