Bluetooth Pairing Request on Venu 2 with IOS on version 6.50

Hi this evening out of nowhere my iphone is sending me pairing requests asking for a password - when none appears on my Venu2 (which is paired and appears to be synching fine). But as the requests are coming through thick and fast its starting to irritate. I have tried restarting my phone, the app, the watch and signed in and out of the app switched on and off bluetooth, disconnected and reconnected the bluetooth to the watch, but to no avail. Connect tells me the software is up to date so and I cant use the phone with the app open as the messages come up too regularly, can someone help please?

Could be another device trying to pair with your phone.

Does your phone have a unique, and specific, name? Like :Joes iPhone'?

Thank you. I have another garmin device (the one I replaced with the Venu) and I've found out it was on so maybe this is the issue. Certainly after switching it off, it seems to have resolved the issue. Thank you!
