today I used my Venu 2 for the first time during walking in downtown. The gps track is quite bad. So there are curves I never went and the side of the street I went is quite often wrong in the track. Is this a normal behaviour of the watch (so that the watch is quite useless for that kind of activity)?
Possibly walking in a city with tall buildings makes it more inaccurate. Maybe it they cut off GPS access, the same way Sirius XM cuts out in cities. Make sure to sync with the app before starting as this…
This is a known problem with all GPS devices ... it's called an urban canyon.
There's nothing you can do about it.
