Venu 2 notifications not working reliably after update to 8.11 firmware

I got 8.11 firmware update this week. After that notifications aren’t anymore coming to the watch reliably. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. In the phone they popup normally. I have on course rebooted both watch and phone but no help.

How could I revert to previous firmware? The reliably notifications are a must have feature to me!

    Hello all!

    Most times, issues with smart notifications stem from an issue with the Garmin Connect mobile app and not from the watch, especially if the missed notifications are sporadic.  Do any of you ALSO have the Garmin Golf app downloaded to your Android phone?

    Well, I would say the issue is with the watch side software.

    Garmin Connect with 5.38 firmware => Works like a charm

    Same Garmin Connect version with 8.11 firmware => Lot of notifications do not come to the watch, random behavior

    Yeah but as usual Garmin are playing for time and are going to take weeks to come up with a fix after denying the obvious...
