Xiaomi mi home notifications not working in Venu 2

Hi all,

I use xiaomi mi home application to manage my smart home devices but i can't receive notification in my venu 2. Mi home notification are allowed in garmin mobile connect. Any ideas?

Its not the watchs fault, its the mi home app. Not a single watch Ive had has managed to show notifications from that app.

my xiaomi Mi watch receives them just fine, although i guess that's no real surprise
