Firmware 8.11 backlight

In the update notes it states backlight performance has been improved. It’s an amoled screen so as far as I am aware it has no backlight.

Anyone know what Garmin are on about?

The "wake up" of the screen with the gesture has been improved and there's no delay anymore as there was before so i guess it's about that...but can't be sure they are referring to that change.…

I imagine so, but wasn’t it super bright already. Perhaps they added lower brightness options.

my watch has become unusable since the update. Not serious from Garmin. I hope they will fix the problem soon.

I would suggest a reset but you may have already tried that.

yes but unfortunately it comes from the version of garmin, and when we do a reset, we keep this version
