I am using the Jeff Galloway Half-Marathon Training Program.
When long runs are scheduled, I have not seen run-walk breaks included in the long runs. For example, the last long run was nine miles. According to the schedule and experience, it was nine miles without a run/walk break. Simply, run nine miles.
I am puzzled that there is not a run/walk break, because Galloway emphasizes the run/walk method. Am I mistaken that there is not a run/walk break in the long runs? There are run/walk breaks on other scheduled runs like half-mile runs have run five minutes and walk three minutes.
If there are run/walk breaks does the training program include them like the half-mile run does? (I set a run/walk break on the Venu 2 watch itself, but the breaks did not appear during the use of the training program.
