Huge body battery difference between Venu 2 and Vivomove Sport

There seems to be huge difference between how the Venu 2 and the VM Sport calculates body battery. See the graph - I slept with the VM Sport and switched to the Venu 2 before I went on a run (no intervals on the Sport).

I've checked at the max puls is the same (it changes for all watches, when I change it on one watch). Any idea on what else to check for?

(personally I think the VM sport is close to the truth - I do feel fully recharged, and the Venu 2 often have me at 70-80% even after a really good nights sleep)

  • Venu 2 has the latest HR sensor but i'm not sure about the VM sport...i guess it has the previous one.

I have a comparison between Venu(previous version of HR) and Venu 2 and with Venu 2 it's, for sure, more difficult to reach that 100% but i, personally, can't say if i'm at 100% or 70% when i wake up so i consider the numbers a nice stuff but i don't really pay too much attention to them.

Stress levels are one of the main factors for the body battery and i find them spot-on for majority of times(when i'm in situations that make me "uncomfortable", stress levels are high for example).

In the past 7 days i reached 100% only once but was close to it 6 days(94/98).

  • I found the same between the SQ and the 2 and the difference I think is it is giving me far less resting stress data then the SQ which adversely effects the body battery score.  I agree with you though and as far as I feel I think the SQ is more accurate.

  • I think maybe my puls may be a few bpm higher on my Venu2, which could have an impact. I'll investigate... :)
