Backcountry ski

I want to add this activity app to my wife's Venu watch. I have it on my fenix 6x but it is not available on the Venu 2. Can somebody provide a FIT fiel that works on the Venu2 for that activity profile ?

Dose’nt she have XC Classic Ski?

Yes But that is not the same sport. What garmin calls BackCountry Ski is what most people call Alpine Touring or Ski Touring, that is the sport where you ski uphill using skins and ski downhill without them. The Backcountry Ski app on my fenix6X has an ascent and a descent mode, with different data screens and each ascent and descent is presented is clearly shown in Garmin Connect.

I don't think that sport is available on the Venu2. You can download (and probably need to pay for) a CIQ app for that.
