Favourites being deleted when changed in app

I seem to have an issue with rearranging or adding new apps to my Venu 2 using Garmin Connect (Android). Every time I made a change or edit all of the favourites are deleted and all installed apps are deleted.

This has been happening on the latest S/W (5.38).

I can only add favourites through the watch interface directly.
