No still the same old stuff :-(

  • Did you try removing the Bluetooth pairing, and then start another attempt?

  • Nice update! Installed it as soon as it was available, almost all bugs seem to be resolved. The only one remaining is that CIQ glances are still moved to the top after a cable sync with Garmin Express. However, no more crashes, which is the important thing!

I did everything I could. Deleted app, reseted device on settings. Removed Venu 2 from BT in iPhone settings every time. Otherwise it wouldn't work at all. But nothing. It always connects without me doing anything on the watch and shows the code immediately and then gets stuck about half way during installation progress on iPhone and the watch already shows the watchface without it being synced.

  • Super happy with the update! It dropped my resting heart rate by 2bpm! It used to be 53bpm before the update. Now it's consistently 51bpm for last 2 days!

Ok, jokes aside, I am very confused whether my heart rate actually dropped, or there was some bug in previous build, or the new build has some bug. Or the new one is simply more accurate. How can I confirm this?

And aside from that, I am really happy with the overall stability, removal of the animation on display activation etc.

  • It looks that I was the only one super stoked with the Venu 2 fade in animation haha

  • May be you are the only one here who has some patience. Rest of us are ADHD Stuck out tongue

  • I was fond of the fade in too....

  • haha, i think this watch needs a 'shortcut' let's say double tap on the button and that would toggle AOD. I use mine with AOD off, but.. there are some tasks during the day that could benefit of having AOD.

For the most part the gesture is fine, also i dont like AOD with amoled screens at night, but let's say I want to time something around 5 minutes long, i could set AOD on and be happy. What do you think?

  • What do you mean with "night"? When the sun goes down and before sleeping? With my settings and the watchface that i'm using i don't find the Venu 2 too bright .

And during sleeping the display is off so no problems at all too.
