Venu 2 does not vibrate when phone alarm starts

Hello,

I am a happy new owner of the Venu 2 however the watch does not vibrate when my phone (Android 8.0.0, Galaxy S7) has an active alarm. I tried to mute/unmute the phone but it didnt make a difference. Also the vibration is turned to high on the watch. Do not Dirsturb- Mode is deactivated as well on the watch. All to no avail...

When I receive phone notifications from apps like Whatsapp etc.. the watch vibrates once. Interestingly when I set a timer/alarm on the watch itself thevibration works flawlessly.

However I would like to use the alarm app on my phone due to certain features. How can I achieve the vibration there? I thought this would be basic functionality?!

That's not surprising ... watch notifications come from phone notifications ... the alarm function must not be sending a notification.

Ah ok, do you have any recommendations on which alarms do send notifications?

Probably best to use the watch's built-in alarms rather the the phone's alarms
