Feature Request - Iphone Maps Turn by Turn Notifications

I am trying to move from an apple watch to the Venu 2 but one feature I've used regularly from my apple watch is turn by turn notifications from Apple Maps. I understand this is not possible with the Venu 2. Why is this and please institute as soon as possible.

    I don't think Apple would allow that. They don't even let you reply to your Iphone messages on non-Apple products.

    That will never happen, sorry. Long time Garmin owner here. They don't include stuff like this in any of their watches. These are lifestyle and sports watches but no smartwatches. Sorry. 

    Not even talking about Apple here who would never allow this, as one user posted before.

    I also have a fenix 5 and while I haven't checked, I'm pretty sure it passed turn by turn directions. My understanding is that Apple will not let you send anything to the phone, it will let you see notifications. On my Venu 2, when I start my car, the notification of how long to get to work from Apple Maps always shows up, just not turn by turn notifications. Weird and seems like a simple integration.

    This is an Apple limitation unfortunately.  Try DwMap from the Garmin Connect store.  It allows you to setup a route, download it to the watch and it will give you turn by turn instructions.  I use it all the time.
