I had to switch over to a VENU 2 from a fenix watch as I'm no longer able to see the display screen (eyes getting older) and was also tired of the bulkiness.
I'm starting to regret this now as it seems the VENU 2 has no audio prompts over bluetooth. I'm really missing this feature.
- Garmin watches are terrible smartwatches, they are fitness watches. Why cripple their fitness features?
- Listening to music on the watch is cumbersome and takes an eternity to sync tracks. I'll never use it for this. Perhaps if it didn't take hours to sync a single podcast I might decide to leave the phone home.
- It must be technically capable of audio prompts over BT.
