Just got my Venu 2 (Japan). Please give an option to update from 3.40 to latest for this region.

Just got my Venu 2 (Japan). First Garmin device. Please give an option to update from 3.40 to latest for this region.
First day and I am already dissappointed to find out this fact. It's not fair to be locked out.
Error code 030 when connecting to wifi.
Plus I read the improvements on the latest updates and it's not good that I don't have an option to have it.

I don't have good news. The APAC version of the watch lags behind other versions. I'm not sure why. We are many many versions behind and all the reps here are pretty quiet about it.

It's easier to come to terms with it.

I bought mine from Amazon US and I'm in South Africa and I have the issue. We are stuck with any old bugs.

I'm Korean. Like you I'm stuck in 3.40 too. I will never buy any garmin in Asia forever. The way Garmin treats asian customers is very wrong

I'm also having the same wifi problem and had the battery drain problem yesterday and today. Garmin's firmware versioning, release cycle, and QA is garbage. I can't find any milestones or release notes for when the asia version will be released. Restricting the power meter data field by software also shows the company's mindset is garbage. Unless it's for extreme sports, I recommend using other cheap and good Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, or Xiaomi Watch.
