Thanks for the reply Kevin. Looks to be working now. She’s getting an occasional issue of HR reading a little low sometimes but apart from that it’s working fine. We’re happy to wait till the next sw version

I use my watch for health monitoring - I have a spinal degenerative disease which limits my mobility and gives me sympathetic overdrive - a tachycardia from pain. So I have gone from a Fenix 6S to a Venu 2S mainly for Health Snapshot and the new HR sensor. Like other users, I'm seeing a few issues with the HR sensor sometimes reading low (I know my HR pretty well and have a HR belt to compare with!) - I'm happy with the watch otherwise as I know any HR issues will almost certainly disappear with future updates and I do like the watch a lot.
Thank you! Be sure to let us know if you experience this again. Once/when you do, be sure to snap a photo. I'd also like to ask you to please make sure the watch software is all up to date. You can accomplish this by downloading and syncing with Garmin Express.

Firmware 5.33 has a lot of problems especially for the heart sensors / SP02.
I love my watch (VENU 2) the sensor accuracy issues are very serious.

Yep it' updated. I've come from a Fenix 6S so I do Express checks roughly weekly....
Just to let you know - we did the reset (hold down button till powered down and restart) and so far everything (touch wood) is behaving well on her watch :)
