Venu 2S Stuck after 5.33 Software Update

Hello.

During last night my Venu 2S got the update 5.33 (I'm in Spain)

When I woke up I noticed that the watch was stuck at 2 am (I guess right after the update) with no heart monitoring, no steps, no sleep tracking...

After restarting it, the watch still have the same issues and don't work. Doing a full reset and erasing all data to start "like new" don't work either.

How can I go back to firmware 5.27? (now I have a watch that don't do nothing)

After speaking to Garmin Support Center, the watch needs to go to their Service Center due to the 5.33 update for repair or replace. No more to say. Good luck with the updates!

Sorry to say - but nos issue here as well. Updated via Wifi from the watch.

Glad to hear that it's not a global issue!
Maybe I just had bad luck.

Anyway Support Center response to replace the watch was excellent.

Mine has the exact same issue. Just woke to the same problem that kicked in at 2am. How frustrating!

Same here! Mine was stuck after about 3am PST. Said I was awake, although I was not. No heart rate, no steps, no tap to wake, no vibrations. Nothing is working. :(

You have to replace the watch? That is crazy. My watch is only a few months old.

Only heard about the update now (here on the forum) and my watch is still on 5.27, with no new version available when manually searching on the watch. Maybe Garmin paused updates because of the issues you guys are having? I have other issues with graphics and battery drain that I was trying to see if the new update would solve, but I'm a bit scared about 5.33 now.

The update was at only at 50% deployed as of this morning.

Was about to factory reset, and checked for any further updates. A sensor update has just been pushed down and thankfully fixed the issue (for me!)
