No elevation data in floor climb activity

After firmware 4, there is no elevation data in floor climb activities. Is it a software bug or they are really removed? I think they are most important data for climb activity and should appear again in connect app.

  • Hello .  Please follow steps below:

    1. Sync your watch with Garmin Express.
    2. Hard reset your watch.  To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch.  Ignore the "Power Off" question and the assistance alert (if applicable) on your watch, just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank.  Once this occurs, you may release the button.  Allow the watch to sit powered off for a few seconds, then you may power it back on by pressing and releasing the power button.
    3. Please clean (first) and calibrate (after cleaning) your barometric altimeter.  See the instructions for this in the FAQ below:
  • Kevin, thanks for support me. Before do this steps i got another question/observation: In running and walking activity, elevation data appear on connect app. I think is not hardware problem. Nevertheless, you think this steps will correct the issue?

  • are you sure to clean barometric sensor put watch to glass with water?

  • We definitely want to start from this point.  Let me know if anything changes after completing those steps.  Additionally, please answer the questions below:

    1. May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
    2. May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?
    3. In what country do you live?
  • , i´ve done all steps and test in both running and floor climb activities. All remains the same: elevation data appear in running and do not appear in floor climbing.

  • Yes, this watch has a water resistance rating of up to 50 meters and is designed to be used for pool swimming, so placing it in a cup of tap water will be perfectly safe.  After completing that, and the steps above, if nothing changes, please let me know and answer the 3 questions asked by me in this thread as well.
