Just as the question says -- it feels slow right now because it fades in visually, which I don't see the logical purpose of (i.e. doesn't everyone want to see the info as fast as possible, especially when working out?). For a fitness watch, it's a confounding decision by Garmin. The immediate screen wake-up of other AMOLED models/smartwatches is what it should be. Can someone from Garmin please update us on the status of this simple request? I see lots of complaints about it online, which makes sense because a fitness watch needs to be immediate and fast when you look at it/double tap it. If I can't get an answer I'll return it and get another brand with proper wake-up speed, but I really don't want to because the watch is great otherwise.
